Who is Profhilo suitable for?
In principle you do not have to leave before or after treatment. To be sure, we always advise our customers to pursue the following before and after care measures:
Do not sit in full sun for 48 hours after the treatment. Are you still in the sun? Then use factor 50 sunscreen.
You should not drink alcoholic beverages during 24 hours before treatment.
Are there any risks involved?
No, apart from a bruise or a small swelling caused by the injections, there are no risks associated with treatment. That bruise or that small swelling disappears soon after the treatment. Hyaluronic acid, the active substance of the Profhilo treatment is in fact a body-specific substance.
Do I have bruises after the treatment? What is my down time?
This is the same as with a filler. So there is a chance of bruising and swelling that will disappear again after 24-48 hours. A single blue spot may possibly last longer.

Number of treatments
Usually two treatments with an interval of about 4 weeks are sufficient for a good result. Of course you can choose to undergo another treatment after the first 2 treatments, but that is a personal choice.
After how many months do I have to repeat the treatment?
The first repeat treatment can take place after a month for the best result. The following treatments are done after 4 to 6 months to retain the results, depending on the skin quality of the patient.
